Solidarity Mission To Israel

This mission has been professionally designed to give you the best opportunities to connect with and be a part of the war in Israel, and explore ways to provide even more support.

Before registering (link below), please read through the following information:
• DATES:
The mission begins Monday morning February 19 at Ben Gurion airport in Israel, and ends Saturday night February 24. Please make suitable travel arrangements to join the mission. (You can take the EL AL flight Sunday February 18 from Miami, and return to Miami on the EL AL flight late Saturday night [after midnight on February 25]).
• ITINERARY:

• COST:
The land fare of the trip is $2995USD for double occupancy, and an additional $500USD for single occupancy. (If we get a larger group, the price can drop down to $2500.)
This includes: Accommodation (Saturday night checkout), meals, transportation from and to the airport and throughout the mission, tour guide, security guard, entrance fees and itinerary activities.
It does not include: Flights, tips, travel insurance, BBQ for IDF soldiers.
Tips: $3-$5 per day for the driver, and $7-$10 per day for the guide.
• REGISTRATION:
There are limited spaces on the mission - first come first serve.
To register, a $500 deposit is due immediately, and the payment of full balance is due by February 1, 2024.
• CANCELATION POLICY:
If a cancelation is made:
- Until January 31 2024 – no cancelation fee, full refund
- From February 1 2024 - full payment for the entire trip will be charged, no refund
Should the entire trip be canceled due to a deterioration in the security situation or another force majeure, we will refund in full minus a handling fee of $250US per person.
• TRAVEL INSURANCE:

• VAT TAX:
According to the new Israeli tax laws, all guests holding Israel citizenship, even those with dual citizenship/passports both for individual travelers and guests part of a group, will be charged VAT tax. If you are in this category and hotels charge us VAT tax, be aware that we will charge you with this extra amount retroactively.
• PASSPORT VALIDITY:
As is customary for international travel, your passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of entry to Israel or you may not be permitted to travel.

LIABILITY RELEASE AGREEMENT
Beit David Highland Lakes Shul Inc.
Solidarity Mission to Israel
In consideration for being allowed to participate in the Solidarity Mission to Israel organized by Beit David Highland Lakes Shul Inc., the participant hereby acknowledges and agrees to the terms set forth in this Liability Release Agreement ("Agreement").
1. Assumption of Risks: I am aware that the Solidarity Mission to Israel involves travel to and participation in areas that may be considered dangerous and/or constitute a war zone. I understand that my participation may expose me to risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, death, property damage, and other dangers that may arise from unpredictable circumstances, acts of terrorism, armed conflict, civil unrest, and other hazards inherent in such environments.
2. Release and Waiver: I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Beit David Highland Lakes Shul Inc. , its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives (collectively referred to as "Releasees") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses arising out of or in any way related to my participation in the Solidarity Mission to Israel, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
3. Hold Harmless and Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including attorney's fees, that may arise from my participation in the Solidarity Mission to Israel, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
4. Medical Treatment: I understand and agree that, in the event of illness or injury, medical treatment may be necessary and that such treatment will be at my sole expense. I hereby authorize the Releasees to secure any necessary medical treatment on my behalf.
5. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
6. Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
7. Acknowledgment: I have carefully read and understand the terms of this Agreement. I am aware of the risks and hazards associated with the Solidarity Mission to Israel, and I voluntarily choose to participate, assuming all associated risks.
